Iryna Kharina, AFCA
Iryna Kharina is a Ukrainian born artist now living and working in Canada. Since 2009 Iryna settled down in Burnaby continuing to create her paintings and being a proud active member of the Burnaby Artist Guild, Federation of Canadian Artists and Chilliwack Visual Artists Association. In 2019 Iryna was awarded with the AFCA Signature Status in the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Iryna’s art based on the academic background, twenty five years of artist’s experience in painting and personal dedication to her creative path.
Landscape and still-life are the basic genres of Iryna’s paintings. Her technique and color style have been changed under the influence of the Canadian Art traditions.
Being a third generation artist, Iryna has begun her art career with attempts to embody imagination of the three year old child that later became the main career’s path of her life. She has a Master of Fine Art.
Iryna actively participates in the art shows all over Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley. Iryna’s paintings are in the national and international private collections.
